The finishes

The hand writes the movement. The finish sets the grain.

Every TERRAZZO GraniTech finish arrives as a ready-to-use paste — and every one of them takes any movement. Troweled flat, it reads modern and mirror-calm. Moved loosely, it drifts like limewash. Worked boldly, it becomes artistic, sculptural texture. What you choose here is not the pattern — it’s the grain beneath it. The sealer sets the final note: matte, satin, or a subtle semi-gloss.

Fine The finest grain — a smooth, velvety surface of quiet simplicity. Troweled evenly it stays calm and unbroken; worked freely it reveals soft ripples, like water reaching the shore.
Medium The coarsest grain — a gently rough surface that feels shaped by time. In raking light it becomes a play of shadow and relief, the same wall drawing new depth from every hour of the day; the sealer decides how much it reveals.
Microterrazzo Granite bound with quartz chip, 0.6–0.8 mm — beige with the rarest touches of black, on a white base you can tint with any of our colors (lighter shades keep the quartz visible). Three blends by density: Roma, the quietest scatter; 600Q, a balanced field; Zambia, the densest mix.

The surface

Depth built into the surface.

Color is the least of it. Beneath every movement your applicator writes, TERRAZZO GraniTech builds a dense, cement-free granite + resin body over the prepared stucco — thin as a coin, sealed against driven rain, engineered to keep the pattern exactly as the trowel left it through sun, storm and seasons. The pattern is yours. The permanence is built in.

The system

Two ways in. One finish.

On new construction, a conventional code-compliant stucco system carries the wall up through the brown coat — by Sto or equivalent — and TERRAZZO GraniTech finishes it. On an existing facade, the sound stucco you already own becomes the substrate. Each layer applied in order, by hand.

Option A · New construction

Armourcoat PU sealer — two coats The weather shield — locks color and sheen
TERRAZZO GraniTech — 2nd coat The hand-troweled finish
TERRAZZO GraniTech — 1st coat First seamless build coat
Fiberglass mesh — optional Reinforcement across transitions
Conventional brown coat ASTM C926 — Sto or equivalent
Conventional scratch coat ASTM C926, over code-compliant lath
Waterproofing + barrier Liquid flashing + water-resistive barrier

Option B · Existing stucco — recoat, no tear-off

Armourcoat PU sealer — two coats The weather shield — locks color and sheen
TERRAZZO GraniTech — 2nd coat The hand-troweled finish
TERRAZZO GraniTech — 1st coat First seamless build coat
Fiberglass mesh — optional Bridges hairline history
Eco Grip Quartz primer Keys the system into the old surface
Prepared substrate — existing stucco Old sealer scratched off, cracks made sound

Either path, the same principle: any smooth, stable surface that is not flexing. On existing stucco we scratch off the old sealer, make any cracks sound, prime — and the system goes on.

Memory Resin Returns to its original form under pressure — resists cracking.
0.040 kg/m²h Zero water absorption, verified on the datasheet.
11.5 N/mm² Surface hardness — a dense architectural surface.
<50 g/L Low odor & low VOC.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this a stucco finish alternative?

Yes — a seamless, microcement-style facade finish. Granite + acrylic resin is hand-troweled over code-compliant stucco, replacing conventional textured finish coats and exterior paint in one system.

What goes underneath on new construction?

A code-compliant exterior cement stucco system up through the brown coat — by Sto or equivalent — over liquid waterproofing flashing and a water-resistive barrier per code. TERRAZZO GraniTech finishes it.

What if I have existing stucco?

Simple. We scratch off the old sealer, eliminate any cracks if present, then apply the Eco Grip Quartz primer — fiberglass mesh optionally — and the system goes on. No demolition, no tear-off; any smooth, stable surface that is not flexing.

How durable is it outdoors?

The granite-aggregate body with memory resin flexes with the wall — resisting the hairline cracking rigid cementitious finishes develop — and the sealed surface stands up to sun, wind and driven rain.

Will the color fade or need repainting?

The color lives in the mineral body, not on top of it — there’s no paint film to peel and no repainting cycle. Refresh the protective sealer years down the line instead of repainting the house.

Is it waterproof?

It’s a waterproof decorative finish — the sealed body sheds water. The wall itself stays waterproofed by its code-compliant barrier and flashing beneath the stucco.

What surfaces can it be applied to?

Cured stucco brown coat, existing sound stucco, concrete and masonry — any smooth, stable surface that is not flexing, properly prepared and primed.
